Sunday School for all Ages
Classes run September through May, 10:10-10:50 am between Sunday morning services.
Children's Sunday School
Children's Sunday School for 2010-2011 begins September 12.
Sunday School is Bible study for kids from 10:10 - 10:50am. The kids go to classrooms and learn a Bible lesson through reading the Bible, answering questions, playing games, working on crafts and projects, and singing.
Teachers commit to a year of teaching in order to build strong relationships with the kids. Sunday School is provided for ages 2 through high school.
The curriculum used for all ages is called FaithWeaver which encourages families to have meaningful, faith-building conversations throughout the week.

1st-8th grades: upstairs in Rooms 201, 203, and 205.
Ages 2-K & High School: downstairs in Rooms 102, 103, 105, and Youth Room (107).

Adult Sunday School
Adult Sunday School for 2010-2011 begins September 12.
FALL CLASSES:
LIFE 202 - Discovering Our Beliefs Who is Jesus? Why is believing in his deity fundamental to who we are as believers? What does the Bible say about salvation? How can we know that the Bible is God's word? How is the Bible organized, and how did it end up in its current form? These are just some of the questions we will be examining in LIFE 202. This class is an in-depth look at the basic truths of Christianity, and it is designed for those who want to take a deeper look at what we believe and why we believe it. (11 weeks - involves some light homework) September 12 - November 21
Preparing for Your Homecoming What happens when I die? What preparations should I make for my death? What happens at a funeral home? What does the Bible say about death? How can I help others who are facing death and grief? Join us for this class, which will seek to answer these questions. (5 weeks) September 12 - October 10
The Jesus I Never Knew Using the book by Philip Yancey, we will explore the person of Jesus Christ. Yancey examines three fundamental questions: who Jesus was, why he came, and what he left behind. (6 weeks) October 17 - November 21
LIFE 301 - Discovering My Ministry LIFE 301 is designed to help you discover your spiritual gifts for your ministry here in our congregation. If you're wondering what the Bible says about ministry and service, or if you've never taken a spiritual gifts assessment, this is a great opportunity. (4 weeks) November 28 - December 19
What I Wish I Had Known Keith Johnson will openly and candidly share with you what no one taught him before he got married. He'll share four principles he's learned that hav ebecome a part of his marriage, which he uses regularly in his pre-marriage and marriage counseling. (4 weeks) November 28 - December 19
Reducing the Risk (RTR)
At ECC we have implemented a Reducing the Risk of Abuse program in which each person working with children and youth goes through training and a background check. Our goal is to continue the ministries God has given to us while being sure everyone involved is safe.
